hi,

I still have a few Win98 clients on my Win2000 AD domain. Starting this morning, when a normal user account tries to login on Win98, they get an MS Networking popup error: "The share name was not found. Be sure you typed it correctly." This prevents them from logging in.

My administrator account can login normally on the 98 client. The user can login fine on a Win2000 or XP client. This seems to have affected all of our 98 clients (three have complained so far, maybe one or two left).

Google and MS Technet don't turn up any good info for that error message.  I'm using this as an excuse to complete the Win2000 migration, but am curious what might be happening.
