Hi all!



I’m recruiting a PhD student to assess Muskellunge stocking success in Iowa. The primary focus of the project will be using acoustic telemetry to evaluate behavior and survival of different product types and stocking strategies, but the student will have the opportunity to develop other areas of the project associated with assessing foraging and predator avoidance behaviors through lab experimentation and exploring adult standard sampling data.



The assistantship is ~$26,000/year with a full tuition waiver. Start date is between May and August 2026.
