Want to Write and Publish your Teaching Case? Join this AOM/IM Division Teaching Committee Webinar to get you started on your journey. This hands-on workshop is aimed at first time case writers to give a roadmap to design, research, write, and publish a case study.
· Learn to design your case triangle - three attributes that make a great case
· Understand the engagement process (company access, interviews & clearance)
· Know the publishing ecosystem - conferences, journals & publishing houses
· Explore the use of digital media and AI tools in developing a case study
Charles Dhanaraj is the J. Mack Robinson Professor and Academic Director of the DBA Program at Georgia State University and an elected Fellow of the Academy of International Business. His research focuses on partnerships, innovation, and digital globalization. He has written several award-winning cases and his research has been published in top academic journals.
Neha Mittal is an Associate Professor and Strategic Outreach Director, The Translational Research Center at The Fox school of Business, Temple University. She is actively involved in case writing and teaching, has published over a dozen case-studies, and is the recipient of several awards.
Carl F. Fey will be the moderator of this event. He is a Professor at BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo, Norway, chair of the AOM IM Division Teaching committee, and an elected AIB Fellow. He previously served as Dean of Nottingham University Business School China. He has written several cases. His research focuses on how cultural and Institutional differences affect which management practices work best in different countries, international knowledge transfer, and firm Internationalization.
