In an attempt to obtain a larger pool of applicants, I’m keeping this position open until July 12, 2024. It is also advertised on the TX A&M Job Board and if Jim from MI State is in the office hopefully he’ll post it on that prominent site too. The position will be a great career builder for someone looking for a post-doc type opportunity or someone with a MS and a solid research track record. They will part of very “wild pig focused” team and given as much independence and leadership as they can comfortably handle – all associate with a fun suite of studies.

I’m recruiting for a GS11/12 term appointment (so Post Doc type position) to help lead a research thrust to inform USDA’s response to a foreign animal disease, like African Swine Fever, incursion. First studies will address fencing and removal response scenarios. Please circulate the attached announcement amongst your networks of those who may be interested in applying.
