The Genomics & Chemical Ecology Group<https://www.lilabmsu.com/> in the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife at Michigan State University is recruiting 3 seasonal field research technicians. Technicians will assist with sea lamprey behavioral assays in the field at USGS Hammond Bay Biological Station, Millersburg, MI from May - August with shared housing provided.
This is an excellent opportunity to directly participate in research and gain experience with the following:
* Animal behavioral observations
* Assisting with experimental setup, data collection, and data management
* Dissection and basic physiology
* Fish husbandry and care
* Passive integrated transponder (PIT) tagging surgical procedures and telemetry equipment
