Africa Journal of Management (AJOM)
Call for Proposals – 2025 Review Special Issue
Editor in chief Bruce Lamont and guest editors Diane Lawong and Katia Galdino seek submissions for a Review Special Issue of the Africa Journal of Management (AJOM).
This call will follow a two-stage process:
1. Submission of a five-page proposal by May 5, 2024.
2. Authors whose proposals are accepted will be invited to submit a full paper by November 30, 2024.
Proposals for this Review Special Issue should outline a plan for developing a compelling review of a specific research literature in the Africa context. Review articles should summarize recent literature, integrate the main findings, and provide directions for future research. This Review Special Issue welcomes submissions from all management areas, such as organizational behavior, entrepreneurship, strategy, and organizational theory, as well as specific theories and research methods, in the African context.
Submission Guidelines
Proposal Submissions: Authors must submit a five-page proposal (double-spaced, 12-inches, Times New Roman, 1-inch margin with appropriate paragraphing; references and tables are not included in this page limit) outlining: 1) the literature being reviewed and its relevance in the African context, 2) a brief state of the literature, explaining how the review will be conducted, 3) implications for future research, and 4) how the literature review will enhance management research and practice in Africa. The deadline for submitting proposals is May 5, 2024.
Full Paper Submissions: Authors whose proposals are accepted will be invited to submit a full paper by November 30, 2024.
