Subject: Wildlife Specialist position opening - north-central Iowa
USDA Wildlife Services is looking to hire a wildlife technician. This will be a Full-Time, Term position and the duty station will be in Buena Vista, Sac, Pocahontas, or Cherokee county. It will be offered at the GS 4/5/6 level and will have full federal benefits. The duties will primarily be conducting wildlife damage management and assessments at agricultural facilities in Buena Vista, Sac, Pocahontas, and Cherokee counties and nearby. We are looking for somebody with a wildlife background that is highly self-motivated and can problem solve in real time with little direction/supervision. Experience with firearms and trapping is preferable, but not necessary.

Please distribute the attached announcement to anybody you think might be interested. If anybody would like more information about the position or Wildlife Services in general, please have them contact me directly.

Thanks,
Adam
