Hiring BWSR Wetland Specialist

The Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR) is seeking to hire an additional Wetland Specialist. The new wetland specialist will be a regional representative for implementation of the Wetland Conservation Act along with the nine other current wetland specialists. Potential office locations include Mankato, Rochester, Marshall, or Waite Park with hybrid work options available. The work area will depend in part on the office location of the successful candidate but will generally be counties to the south and/or west of the twin cities metropolitan area. Those who might be interested should contact the Wetland Conservation Act Operations Supervisor with any questions about the position. Note that this position is under the Minnesota Association of Professional Employees union which negotiated a tentative contract agreement for 2023-25 that may affect the salary range and benefits specified in the announcement if the contract is adopted.
