Association for Business Simulations and Experiential Learning (ABSEL) is entering its 50th year and on this momentous occasion, the ABSEL board is launching a workshop series. The first of these workshops will be held VIRTUALLY on May 13, Friday between 1-2.30PM Eastern Time. In this workshop you can learn about ways in which Live Cases and/or E-sports can be integrated into your classroom. This workshop is especially helpful for doctoral students who are about to go on the job market, faculty who have just begun their careers as educators and for anyone looking for new ways to engage your students as institutions return back to in-person instructions.

You can register for the workshop at this link - https://cvent.me/N3zGDY

Looking forward to meeting you all on May 13!

For 50 years ABSEL (Association for Business Simulation and Experiential Learning) has offered techniques to engage students in the classroom. This 90-minute session will give you the opportunity to explore the burgeoning e-sports industry while learning how to actively engage your students with a teaching technique that is effective in either the face-to-face or virtual teaching environments. This workshop is recommended for doctoral students who are beginning their teaching careers, adjunct instructors, anyone interested in learning more about the live case approach, and anyone who wishes to develop new student-centered techniques in the classroom.
