I am a male Ph.D. student at MSU. I am living in a two bedroom apartment (with one shared bathroom) in Spartan Village (SV) and I am looking for someone to sublease my room for Spring 2020 (e.g. December 2019/January 2020 to May 2020, but I am flexible with the schedule). I am a friendly and respectful person. My current roommate is also a Ph.D. student at MSU. He is a nice and agreeable guy.
The apartment is fully furnished. We have the necessary housewares. Perhaps you don't have to buy any thing. The rent is $432 per month, including everything (i.e. electricity, water, heat, Internet). I am going to sublease for $350.
The apartment is in front of the leasing office (as well as mailroom), close to the laundry, and bus stops. There is a free bus (route 38) between Spartan Village and MSU campus every 30 minutes. Or you can ride bicycle (10 minutes) or walk (20 minutes) if you like (Spartan Village and MSU campus is beautiful when the Spring comes). SV is also close to the grocery store (FreshThyme, Swagath), next to East Lansing transportation center (Amtrak, Greyhound, Indian Trails). SV is a peaceful and safe community as most of the residents are graduate students, post-docs, and faculty, and SV participates in Neighborhood Watch patrolled by MSU Police regularly.
