Good morning,
I am a female Ph.D. student at MSU. I am living in a two bedroom house and
my current roommate is leaving at the end of December, so I am looking for
a new housemate.
Here are some details about the place:
1. Both bedrooms are on the second floor of a 2-story house in Lansing,
close to Frandor mall. There's a bus stop just one block away from the
house, but it mainly goes around Lansing. You can take this bus (for 4
minutes) and transfer to bus #1 at Frandor to go to campus. It takes around
8 minutes to drive to campus, if you have a car. We have a big back yard,
enough for 3-4 cars to park.
2. There are 4 rooms upstairs: 2 bedrooms, a home-office, a bathroom. There
are 4 rooms downstairs: the living room, dining room, the kitchen (and a
laundry closet) and a half bath. All rooms are furnished. You will need a
bed, though (as my housemate is selling the current bed).
3. The rent is $430/month with all utilities (electricity, heat, water,
internet,...) included for a 6-month rent agreement, or $450/month if you
want to go on a month-to-month basis. Rent has to be paid at the beginning
of the month, by check, money order, or cash.
