My name is Wei Liao. I am the coordinator of the Chinese Teacher Certification Program (CTCP) at MSU. We are currently conducting a survey to gauge the national interest in and needs for pursuing certificates for teaching Chinese in K-12 schools. Since the subscribers of the CSSAMSU Listserv may be interested in this kind of opportunity, I am sharing the survey with you here. Please find below the link to the survey.

If you are interested in pursuing a career in the teaching profession, especially in becoming a certified Chinese language teacher in American schools, we would very much appreciate your sharing of your thoughts about what kinds of programs would best support you through participating in the survey as listed above. 
 
We will not identify any individual, nor institutions, in our use of the survey results. This is a needs assessment/market study, not an academic research study, and we will not share the results with others. Instead, we hope to use it to inform decisions we are making about revising our curriculum of K-12 teacher certification program and our recruiting efforts.
