2004 Toyota Matrix SRX Sport Wagon. MSU professor’s car. Selling because I’m moving to China.
This car has been a first and second car for a family of four. it’s been used a lot and is showing its age. But the engine is excellent and everything works. It has been extremely reliable for us - never needed major repairs, never in a crash. If I were to keep this car, I would do some work on it in the next couple years: (1) take care of a small dent in the door (photo), (2) remove some rust on the driver’s side rear apron (photo), replace or polish the headlight lenses, which have been scratched up over the years.

This vehicle has standard transmission. If you don’t know it, it’s easy to learn. Standard means higher MPG, better control on icy roads and lots more fun to drive!

Price: $2,560. The average Kelly Blue Book value for this model in this area in ‘Fair’ condition is $2,560. Since it’s a fair price and I don’t have time to bargain I won’t accept any offers less than this. First one with this in cash gets it.  I can show you the car Saturday or Sunday afternoons, or occasional evenings after 8.
