Position: GLRI Program Coordinator

Location: Ann arbor, MI

Jamison Professional Services, Inc. (JPS) is currently seeking qualified and motivated candidate for the position of GLRI Program Coordinator

 The Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) Program Coordinator: This position is a Key Personnel position. This position contributes to the end results of a multi-million dollar program through organizing, planning and managing the activity. The position works with the Great Lakes Regional Collaboration Team and its GLRI Working Group to set policy, provide direction, and atmosphere for program excellence. The position provides leadership, monitors and controls program processes, and leads performance improvement. The position conducts periodic and regular reviews both internally and with grantees. Identifies and resolves programmatic issues. Provides overall coordination of client's participation in the GLRI, recommends possible solutions to problems. Assists in the development, tracking, and issue resolution/correction related to program metrics including key performance parameters; measures of performance; and measures of effectiveness. This position provides recommendations or analysis for program requirements and modification.

The incumbent will have relevant field experience (e.g., environmental science, or resource management). Master's degree preferred along with experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment.

TASKS

I. Great Lakes Restoration Initiative Planning, Execution and Review

A. Plan and manage GLRI program reviews as necessary.

B. Plan and chair GLRI meetings for principle investigators, NOAA GLRI Working Group and Steering Committee and provide regular update emails.

C. Represent NOAA on the GLRI Communications Committee (EPA led working group).

D. Serve as GLRI NOAA Point of Contact with U.S. EPA.

E. Oversee project quarterly reporting and conduct all GLAS reporting updates.

F. Provide all GLRI NOAA reporting within established deadlines.

G. Provide technical reviewer expertise for select GLRI projects/grant awards.

H. Support NOAA's internal annual funding competition.

I. Support funding and quality assurance needs.

Outreach, Education and Communications as necessary or required

A. Coordinate exhibit booths and information for the Great Lakes as needed.

B. Maintain social networking activities as needed (i.e. Facebook)

C. Provide computer-based technical communications such as Google Docs and the GLRCT website using appropriate and current software.

D. Maintain documentation of current GLRI work and projects, such as photos and short descriptions.

GLRCT Support

A. Provide team meeting support

B. Provide support to Team working groups as needed.

U.S. Citizenship: Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
