Qualifications<javascript:openHelp(%22public_help.asp?help=Qualifications%22);>:
Minimally qualified applicants will have experience, training or education in ALL of the following:
1. Understanding and/or determining fish species/ characteristics, fish habitat and/or fish ecology
2. Fish sampling techniques
3. Collecting and organizing large amount of data from fish or habitat sampling surveys

Well-qualified applicants will have experience in the following:
1. Conducting habitat and fisheries restoration projects
2. Habitat assessment techniques
3. Degree in Fisheries Biology, Ecology, Zoology, or Statistics
Special Requirements
1. Valid driver’s license for travel
2. Ability to complete electroshocking equipment class with the DNR
3. Ability to obtain and maintain cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) designation
4. Ability to complete the American Red Cross First Aid training course
5. Ability to work various hours, mostly days. Will work 3 to 11 p.m. occasionally and  some weekends.
6. Ability to work long hours and in inclement weather conditions
7. Ability to attend and complete WI Boater Safety course
