Good afternoon colleagues!
The 2017 Michigan High School State Quiz Bowl Tournament is upon us. For
those who are unfamiliar, Quiz Bowl is a game in which two teams compete
head-to-head to answer questions from all areas of knowledge including
history, literature, science, fine arts, current events, sports, and popular
culture. This tournament, sponsored by the Honors College and Meijer, will
be held at the MSU Union on Friday, April 21st, and Saturday, April 22nd,
and we need your help!
We are looking for volunteers to fill various roles, including moderators,
judges, and scorekeepers. Training materials/instructions, a meal voucher
to the MSU Union food court, and a parking pass (if needed) will be
provided. If desired, volunteers can also attend a live training session,
held at Eustace-Cole Hall, on the north side of campus.
