COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Back to the Roots is a rapidly emerging organic food company that is dedicated
to the movement of making food personal again and reconnecting families to
what they eat! What started as curiosity about urban farming has turned into a
passion for "undoing food" and reconnecting families to it through fun,
delicious and sustainable "ready to grow" and "ready to eat" products. Our
unique products have recently received press from Mens Health, Rachel Ray,
Martha Stewart, Oprah and are sold nationwide in stores such as Whole Foods,
Target, Urban Outfitters, Nordstrom, Home Depot, and Kroger just to name a
few. Back to the Roots is proud to announce winning the Nexty Award for Best
New Mission-Based Product for our Organic Stoneground Flakes. We're doing

JOB DESCRIPTION
Are you interested in changing the way people think about food? Are you
dedicated to innovation and creativity? Well then Back to the Roots would love
to have you aboard! We€™re undoing foods one household at a time, and we need
your assistance.

Duties of Role:
Represent the Back to the Roots brand at in-store demos throughout Detroit/Ann
Arbor Metro, primarily at Whole Foods locations
Track Performance of demos, collect emails, collect customer feedback (via
google docs tools provided for you), and work with retail team to implement
improvements.
Create and maintain relationships with grocery team leaders, as well as
potential partner brands.
Attend events on behalf of Back to the Roots

Qualifications
Comfort with adapting to various Apps & Google Docs - we use it extensively
Hardworking and ambitious with entrepreneurial mindset.
Outgoing and comfortable with speaking to strangers, a people person.
Energetic and excited about natural food, and helping to build brands.
Ability to act independently and remotely.
Must be highly organized and have strong attention to detail.
Must have access to a car and smartphone.
LOVE OF FOOD REQUIRED!
** Must be able to work weekends. $18 per hour + bonus structure + mileage
