Hello! My name is Sehoon Jung and I am a Ph.D. student in the Second
Language Program here at MSU. I am currently looking for participants for
my dissertation research project and I would like to invite you to my study.
It is a *one-session eye-tracking reading experiment (in English)* *along
with a couple of other computerized tests*. Overall it is expected to take
about *60-75 minutes* to complete all the required tasks and you will be
paid *20 dollars* for your participation.
The lab (B-242) is located in the B-Wing in Wells Hall on campus, and you
will meet with me by appointment at a time that is convenient for you.
There are a few criteria that were set to determine eligibility for
participation, as in below:
1) Chinese or Korean speakers *who moved (to the U.S.) at an early age
(before the age **of 12) *and *have had primary and/or secondary education
in the United States*.
*OR*
2) Chinese or Korean speakers (*graduate students only*) who are highly
proficient in English, especially in grammar and reading. If you have a
TOEFL score, a minimum score of 100 (iBT), 250 (CBT), or 600 (PBT) is
required.
