Hello,
很多朋友已经知道opt extension可能被地方法院废除，废除日从明年2月开始。这会影响到很多STEM同学毕业后找工作抽H1b，当然也包括本人。 因为现在每年H1b名额的限制，一大部分人很难第一次就抽中H1b，若没有extension就不能保持合法身份工作。以下有个链接，是有人在white house petition 网站上发起的一个诉求，希望government对opt extension的废除表明态度或有相应的行动。收集到10万个signature，可能会引起政府关注。Please click the link and sign the petition. Thanks.
