About Chinese Culture and Language Studies Program
The Chinese language is increasing in popularity in the world business,
diplomatic, and
cultural understanding reasons. The Chinese Language and Culture Studies
Program which is
designed by F.E.I. is to help more American students to learn Chinese well,
to ensure students
have the skills needed for success in pursuing the above reasons, and to
allow more students
to have the time needed to learn Chinese well. By providing certified
Chinese teacher, F.E.I.
will offer this program to all elementary schools and high schools in
Toledo and surrounding
area, including public schools, charters schools and private schools. In
order to improve and
develop this growing program, we need more and more qualified teachers.
Job Title：Mandarin Chinese Teacher
Location: Toledo, Ohio, U.S.A.
Job Description:
Duties include lesson planning, teaching, communicating with parents, etc.
Be able to design and/or follow curriculum and activities, must be
committed to excellence.
Must be able to effectively communicate with parents ( both oral and
written)and manage
various areas of conflicts to ensure positive outcomes.
Qualification Requirement:
1) Bachelor’s degree in Teaching Chinese as Second Language and Education.
2) Ability to relate positively with students, knowledge of (through
studies or work
experience) the social, emotional and creative needs of students in
different ages.
3) Proficient in MS office and familiar with different types of educational
software.
4) Previous teaching position with a public or private school system, a
quality preschool,
child care center is preferred.
5) Foreign students teaching experience is preferred. Master degree
preferred.
6) Be qualified to apply state teacher’s license.
The pay commensurate with experience and hourly. Creativity, innovation,
organization, and
excellent classroom management are a must.
