Job Openings at theVisiting International Professional Program
Job 1: Program Assistant.This position is up to 10-20 hours per week (30-40 hours during the summer).Job duties include: assist program coordinators in preparing applicationdocuments, communicate with program applicants, translate and interpret forworkshops from English to Chinese and Chinese to English. Excellent bilingual translation skills arerequired. This position starts from summer 2015.
Job 2: Settlement Assistant. This position includesworking with business professionals and their families and helping them getsettled after they arrive at MSU. Duties include, but are not limited to,arrival and departure support (from both Lansing and Detroit airports),assistance with apartment contracts, grocery shopping, opening bank account, school support for children,driver’s license support, on campus support and troubleshooting. Proficiency inMandarin Chinese is required. This position starts from Summer 2015.
