本次大赛由中国学生学者联合会CSSA主办，将于2014年3月15日在我大MSU校园的SnyderRCAH
Theater展开初赛，并在一周之后的3月22日，在Erickson
Hall的决赛中决出冠亚军和团体奖！其中，冠军歌手除了可以获得CSSA提供的价值300美金的奖品，还能获得由CSSA定制的，印有选手中英文姓名的，“金麦克—MSU2014校园歌手冠军”奖杯，这将是一份永远值得纪念的奖品，有木有！！
全新的团赛和指定PK赛制，集娱乐性/竞争性于一身，必将给观众全新的体验。

2. 评判标准：
根据以往的赛制经验，本次大赛将摒弃看似公平实则混乱的“大众”评审 或
i>clicker投票方式，而采用专业评委团进行评判。评委团将涵盖MSU校园音乐圈内的知名唱将、乐队主唱、声乐专业的研究生、晚会主创人员等，所以，无论你是摇滚，粤语，英语还是原创民谣，专业评委都将给出专业的评判。
评分将全部对选手开放，尽可能的做到公平公正和公开，这也是CSSA一切活动的宗旨。
3. 初赛赛制：
所有选手将抽签确定次序，伴奏自行准备。我们将根据评委的实时评分，保留8名分数最高的选手进入1周后的决赛。在确定晋级选手后，暂列第1、2名的选手，将通过抽签分别组建自己的队伍！这2支
将利用决赛前这一周的时间，排练一首合唱歌曲，而这首合唱歌曲在决赛中的评分，将至关重要；
4. 决赛赛制
决赛第一轮：由两队PK各队的合唱歌曲，由评委评分确定胜方，胜方将获得团体奖奖品，同时将在决赛第二轮的个人比拼中占得先机。第一轮评分将被记录。
决赛第二轮：由第一轮胜方的选手，指定对方的选手与本队选手进行PK，评分将计为个人成绩的同时，获胜方将为本队增加1分。以此类推，各队的4名选手依次PK完毕后，将根据每位选手的个人成绩，评出本届大赛的冠军歌手和亚军歌手。
“独乐乐，众乐乐，孰乐？”团体赛的加入，会加深团队内部成员彼此间的交流；团队歌曲的编排和效果，将体现团队意识的强弱。在为团队而战的激励下，更能激发选手们的潜力。
此外，在决赛现场，我们还将准备“我爱记歌词”等观众互动环节。幸运的5位观众，将获得CSSA准备的东兰辛K歌圣地的代金券。
本次歌唱比赛的奖品还包括：
决赛入围奖：颁给8位入围决赛阶段比赛的选手；
团体奖：颁给决赛阶段2支团队中，合唱表现更出色的一支；
个人冠、亚军：包括“金麦克—MSU2014校园歌手冠军”奖杯在内的

It’s time for some good music and good voices!
Time and Locations:
Initial Audition:
3/15/2014, Saturday, 2:30pm, Snyder Theater at Snyder Hall
Final Contest:
3/22/2014, Saturday, 6:30pm,Kiva at Erickson Hall
Initial Audition:
Contestants should prepare to sing for less than 3 minutes (about 2 minutes
and 30 seconds is ideal) with the music. Judges give them scores. Top 8
auditions are selected to the final contest (ranked with scores). After the
audition, successful contestants are divided into two groups, group A and
group B. They have a week (the week before final contest) to prepare a song
as groups. Group A and group B compete each other in the final contest.
Final Contest:
Final contest has two parts: first round and second round.
First round is a competition against teams. Six judges will give scores
based on the performance of whole groups. They will give extra points for
creativity, perfect teamwork, etc.
Second round is a individual-competition. The contestant from group A can
choose his/her opponent from group B. After they both sing, judges give
scores for both of them as individual scores. Whoever wins will add one
point to the whole team score. For example, if the contestant from A wins,
group A will receive a point as a group. There are three individual rewards
and a team reward.
Team reward:
The group with the highest team score will be rewarded. However, if groups
tie each other, the group with the highest total individual score wins.
Individual rewards:
Individuals are ranked with individual score and the top three will be
rewarded with first, second and third prizes.
First prize: a microphone-shaped trophy with contestant's name on it!
Fun games will be played during the break with prizes!
Note: Final contest requires tickets.
We will be giving out tickets for free the week before the final contest.
Time and locations will be announced through the CSSA mailing list, Renren
page, Facebook, Weibo, MSU Chinese BBS and WeChat.
