Dear Spartan Student:
The MSU Alumni Association is now accepting applications for the 2014
Homecoming Court. If you or someone you know will begin the fall semester
as a senior and represents the diversity and richness of the Spartan
experience, we encourage you to apply.
Being selected to represent Michigan State University on the Homecoming
Court is considered one of the highest honors for MSU seniors. Ten students
will be selected to the 2014 Homecoming Court based on their ability to
exemplify the qualities of leadership, spirit, integrity and achievement
through their contributions and involvement with MSU and the community.
Homecoming Court selection is determined by a committee consisting of
students, faculty, staff, alumni and community leaders.
In addition to serving as positive role models, maintaining a positive
attitude and acting graciously and ethically during all official visits,
Homecoming Court members must meet the following requirements:
-Be a full-time MSU undergraduate student who will have completed at least
90 credits (senior status) by August 28, 2014
-Have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5
-Be in good academic, legal and disciplinary standing
To apply for the 2014 Homecoming Court, please submit your application by 5:00
p.m. on Thursday, March 20. Late applications will not be accepted. In
order to complete your online application successfully, you must include a
resume, letter of recommendation and your written response to three
questions. A complete list of requirements for the 2014 Homecoming Court
nomination can be found online.
