Position Summary:

Will work on two research projects involving adipose tissue
physiology and plasticity; adipocyte and monocyte cell lines
culture; molecular biology including qPCR, protein, and
lipid assays; operates, maintains, and monitors research
instruments and equipment; maintains laboratory
inventory; conducts data analysis and literature searches.

Desired Qualifications:

Master's degree with major course work in one of the
basic sciences; experience conducting basic molecular and
cellular biology techniques, including adipocyte and
monocyte cell lines culture, qPCR, western blotting, ELISA,
cloning, histology, and immunohistochemistry.
