Interested in making a ton of friends and having a ridiculous amount of fun?
Welcome to the KICK OFF OF MSU CACCE-Chinese American Cross Cultural
Experience, the first MSU Cross Cultural Student Organization designed for
American and Chinese, and all friends who are interested in Chinese and
American cultures!

MSU CACCE is a brand new organization that is all about bringing people
together, learning from one another and building real friendships. We are
challenging people to step outside of their comfort zones to come explore how
awesome it is to reach out to someone who doesn’t necessarily look, speak,
eat, and dress as you do. We are all young people growing up in the same large
family, and we can share more in common than you might have ever imagined.

“Spartans at China-老外在中国” is a platform for American students who have
studied abroad, worked, or interned in China to share their stories, talking
about the challenges they had, the strategies they used, the tears and joy,
and the impact that they received on personal and professional levels from
studying and living in another country and a totally different culture.

GUEST SPEAKER FOR KICK OFF

Chris Roszell— CEO at Coursehack. It

Chris Roszell is an MSU alum from James Madison College. He learned Chinese
language at MSU and studied abroad at Peking University in 2010. During his
college life, Chris was involved in numerous events related to Chinese language,
culture, and business. He participated in Chinese Speech Contest, served as
Director of Public Relations for the Broad China Business Society (BCBS), and
helped promote business trips to some of the most famous companies when he
was in China, such as Wuliangye Group. In 2010 MSU Chinese Spring Festival
Gala, Chris and his friends from MSU Chinese language program performed a
short comic, if you watch that Gala, you must remember him. Yes, he is the
American student who sang the popular Chinese song “Qingfeideyi-情非得已”.
He started Coursehack.it with two Chinese Computer Science PhD candidates,
a website that helps students to organize assignments. On 03/22, he will be
here to share his cross cultural experiences in Asia and Europe, as well as in
building up a business to help students.

Snacks and Drinks are provided.
