Hello Everyone,



As you may know, next week (2/10) is Chinese New Year, the Year of Snake.
The Greater Lansing Chinese Association together with more than ten other
organizations in the Greater Lansing Area, are planning a festive day to
celebrate Chinese New Year. The event will take place in the Meridian Mall,
in the JC Penney corridor on Saturday, February 9th from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00
p.m. The event will include a parade, fashion show, music, dancing,
singing, carnival games, and more.



Attached for your information are the flyer and poster of the event. Please
share the information with your family members and friends and come to join
the event.

Chinese New Year Celebration and Free Bus Transportation Information****

Lansing Community College has sponsor the free bus for the event. The bus
takes 1 hour to complete 12.6 mile route, starting from the Spartan Village
Community Center, stopping at West Wilson Hall, Butterfield Hall in Brody
Complex, North Hubbard Hall and ending at the Meridian Mall. It starts at
1:00 pm to pick up students from the Spartan Village and ends at 6:15pm at
the Meridian Mall to send students back to campus. It keeps running back
and forth between 1:00-6:15pm in the afternoon. Please see the bus with LCC
logo on it, not others.****
