Dear Fellow Business Professors:
Nottingham University Business School China is looking for several visiting
faculty at any level in the areas of Organizational Behavior, Entrepreneurship,
International Business, and Economics who are interested in working in China
for three to twelve months starting sometime between September 2012 and
March 2013. More senior visitors are of special interest as are those
experienced in interactive teaching methods, but we will consider people at all
levels. Visitors would be expected to teach and engage in an increasingly
vibrant research culture at the school. All teaching is in English. The school
makes a great resarch base for people interested in doing research in China.
In a few cases, visits as short as six weeks may be possible for extremely
qualified senior people.
Nottingham University Business School China, which is based in Ningbo, China
about a three-hour drive from Shanghai (there is also a good airport in Ningbo
as it is a city of about six million people). The school is a subsidiary of
Nottingham University in the UK and is rapidly expanding. There are about
2300 undergraduate and master students in the business school as well as a
small PhD program and a permanent faculty of about 60 from about 25
countries (the faculty is 25% Chinese and 75% from other countries from all
