I have tried several bluetooth keyboards with my iPad, and it still
leaves much to be desired, simply cannot edit text or control iPad
apps from a bluetooth keyboard the same as you could on a regular
computer. You still have to touch the screen a lot to get anything
done (e.g., simply moving your cursor to another point in the text,
or selecting a block of text).
As others have put it, a tablet is a "consumption" device, not a
"production" device -- fine for viewing already-made content (books,
web pages, photos, movies) and occasionally jotting short notes, not
good for making extensive content.
