About the Walker L. Cisler Memorial Lecture Series
Lawrence Tech's annual series, sponsored by the College of Arts and
Sciences, honors the memory of Detroit industrialist Walker L. Cisler, an
international ambassador for the American electric utility industry who worked
closely with presidents, prime ministers, and kings, and who, as a tireless and
dedicated humanitarian, worked to bring the comfort and convenience of
electricity to millions around the world.
