As I recall the terms were aimed at non-production boxes and desktops
when Red Hat first offered it.
Installing a Red Hat satellite or proxy server was required to handle
the licensing.

We also purchase directly from RedHat. There is an interface through
RedHat
Network to track and manage your licenses and "entitlements" over the
web.
It's not as user-friendly as we would like.
Where are you getting that $50 price? We're paying $60 (per year, per
