So I have this gx260 with Win2K on it, or rather was Win2K 'till I
stuffed XP on it. A problem has cropped up which is weird: WinXP
can't find the nic, an innocent 3c905c. I've gone to the Dell site
and found the seemingly appropriate drivers, but no go.
Googling about, I see on the Dell site a reference to the Dell
Resource CD, v 5.02 or 5.03 I think. I wonder if anyone has one
that I could try that driver out on. I remember a case back in the
days of the 166MHz GXMT's, where a driver on a CD was different
and correct compared to the Dell site, thus my request. ...I have
XP licenses, blah blah, legal install, etc. ;-)
Most maddening, XP not finding the nic...
