UPDATE AND REMINDER: WAIB OFFICER E-ELECTION
I am delighted to report that response to my call for nominations has
been active, reflecting a high level of interest and support for WAIB.
If you have not already replied, please do so now.
Consider especially nominating yourself or a friend for the role of
Secretary-Treasurer who keeps minutes of meetings, manages budget
affairs and leads fund-raising efforts.
Note that all WAIB officers are encouraged to seek out sources of
potential funding to support the efforts of the Secretary-Treasurer.
Send your name or the name of your nominee, the position sought, a
statement of willingness to serve if elected, and a short bio to me at:

DEADLINE for receipt of all E-NOMINATIONS: Sunday June 17, 2007.
Results will be announced at the 2007 annual business meeting in
Indianapolis.

Please note the following information about serving as a WAIB officer:
1. WAIB's business during the academic year is conducted through email.
2. A majority of WAIB officers (3 out of 5) is expected to attend the
annual conference in order to organize and implement WAIB-sponsored
events, such as the annual business meeting, annual research panel, and
a networking reception.
The 2008 AIB conference will be held in Milan, Italy from June 30- July
3, 2008 at Universita Bocconi.
3. San Diego, CA will be the AIB venue for 2009.
