Upgrade from Windows XP to Vista
Speaking of early adopters, the ExtremeTech geeks have created
a step-by-step Windows XP-to-Vista upgrade guide. Microsoft
always recommends full install on a clean system over upgrade,
but that's none too practical for most of the world. Thank
goodness ExtremeTech's editors have their heads on straight.
They look at figuring out if you can upgrade, preparing for the
upgrade, doing it, and then mopping up. The official launch is
next week, so you need to prepare now.
