The Commonwealth Corporation Center for Youth Development and Education
is seeking five professionals to become a part of their Diploma Plus
Program. They are seeking candidates for the following positions: Team
Lead/Project Manager; Research and Evaluation Analyst; Curriculum,
Assessment & Instruction Specialist; Network Liaison; and Education

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

Diploma Plus Team Lead. Commonwealth Corporation. Boston, MA
Provides guidance, coordination, and oversight of activities carried out
by the Diploma Plus Program Team, as well as develop and administer the
annual project work plan. The DP Project Manager: designs, develops, and
oversees staff in implementing the Diploma Plus vision, strategic plan,
and program components in existing DP networks (14 schools and programs
in Boston, New England, New York City) and emerging networks (currently,
California.)

Diploma Plus Network Liaison
Commonwealth Corporation is seeking a candidate with experience in
creating and managing networks of teachers and schools that focus on
disenfranchised youth. The ideal candidate will be able to lead the
team’s effort to implement and support Diploma Plus’s growing networkof
alternative schools in New York City and/or in California as well as
provide network support to schools in New England.

Curriculum, Assessment & Instruction Specialist
Commonwealth Corporation is a candidate with specialties in curriculum
design, instructional practice, authentic assessment, and product
development. The ideal candidate will be able to lead the team’s effort
to define, document, and implement performance-based promotion and
graduation systems in Diploma Plus’s network of alternative schools.
In addition, the candidate will provide some school level coaching and
may assume team leadership in the delivery of professional development
for the Diploma Plus (DP) program

Education Specialist
CYDE seeks an experienced and innovative community educator to join the
Education team, with a focus on work in Boston. We are seeking a
candidate with specialties in alternative education for youth,
community-based and out-of-school education, or related areas. The ideal
candidate will lead the team’s efforts in the Boston Campaign for
Proficiency, in development of an alternative education network and
pathway, and in liaison work with specific Boston programs.

Research and Evaluation Analyst
The senior analyst will be responsible for the design and implementation
of evaluation of education/youth and workforce development programs. The
senior analyst will: Plan, design and conduct research and evaluation
projects to determine the effectiveness of education or workforce
development programs; devise methods and procedures for collecting,
cleaning, organizing and processing data; conduct literature reviews and
summarize key findings; analyze data using advanced quantitative
(econometric/statistical) methods using statistical applications;
prepare reports and presentations on study findings for researchers and
practitioners.manage selected studies or analyses being performed by
partners/contractors; work closely with program managers at Center for
Youth Development and Education in the development of programs, data
analysis, and planning and conduct of evaluations.
