Dear WAIB members,
By now many of you will be making plans for Stockholm. I would like to
take this opportunity to remind you of some valuable services that WAIB
offers you as members. These are an email room-sharing forum; a WAIB
reception and annual business meeting; and a WAIB panel about ?Working
Successfully with Other Faculty.? Mark your calendars for the Sunday
WAIB reception and the Tuesday WAIB panel.
One of my goals in Stockholm will be to try to encourage networking
among WAIB members in the areas of research and publication, as well as
moral support and (hopefully) mentoring. Please visit the WAIB website
and make sure that your research areas / teaching interests are up to
date in the Directory. Then we can use the WAIB Directory as a source
of contacts for networking at the conference. If you have time to
browse the WAIB Directory, you will be able to identify others with
similar interests. Why not plan to meet in Stockholm?
Remember you can submit news items and requests for assistance directly
