Ah the interesting things that happen when one hits reply to all. ;-)
Thank you for the information.
Is there a chart somewhere that gives any where near accurate details of who in what part of the "Computer Lab" or Computer building does what? I've been at MSU just over a year and keep being told one thing or another by people who knew how things were sometime in the past, but who haven't talked to anyone there in years. Other things seem to change over night.
A first question for Engineering Services is, what would be the response time for the two most important printers in the building? The two HP 8000 series printers in the reference area serve a LOT of our patrons. If towards the end of term one of those fail we have a major problem. Each printer is doing about 300,000 pages from August to May. Beyond those two, all other printers are only critical in the mind of the primary user.
Thanks.

Engineering Services does service most HP laser printers. When in doubt,
please call or email us. We do on-site and offer free pick up and delivery.
EngServ's focus is primarily hardware - the certificate issue with the
e-token printers would be dealt with by another group in the Computer Lab.
I'm not a subscriber to this list, so please cc me on any relevant replies.
Thanks.
