Subject: MSU organic Reporting Session

Dear Colleagues
Announcing the 2013 MSU Organic Reporting Session and FIRST EVER Farmer-Researcher Priority Setting. I hope you can join us. Included is the application to present as a researcher, for a poster presentation by a graduate student and the press release and poster to print out and hang (please can you do this for me)??


This year I am using the "extra time" or the fact that the MOFFA conference is not the following day and hosting a facilitate Farmer Researcher priority Setting discussion. If there is any year to come to this event, this IS the YEAR!  The details from the discussion will be recorded and results available. This info I would think be VERY useful when demonstrating priorities for new research grants!!

We hope to have Maureen Wilmot or another representative from OFRF to share an opening talk on their grant opportunities and the state of the upcoming Farm Bill 

I hope you will help to spread this info to your grad students and others who may be interested and please do post this included poster at your site (8.5 x 11).
Note the deadline to apply to present an oral presentation is Feb 10 (for faculty and extension only) and applications for posters is Feb 25.
