The eligibility criteria are noted below: 1.) All majors are welcome to apply; however, typical majors and minors of successful applicants include: political science, public affairs, history, international affairs, business, philosophy, economics, public health, and journalism. 2.) Strong academic credentials; minimum GPA of 3.5 or higher. 3.) Demonstrated interest in public policy, international affairs, and / or the institutions of the Presidency and the Congress. 4.) Open to undergraduate seniors; graduate students and advanced underclassmen are also welcome. Students should submit the "Intent to Apply" form (https://nifs.msu.edu/webform/msu-nifs-internal-application-intent-apply ) as soon as possible.
