The James Madison College Student Senate was
founded in 1993 by Madison students and faculty to serve as the
official voice of students within the college. The senate advises the dean and
faculty on college issues, provides leadership opportunities to students, and
sponsors extra- and co-curricular activities. Senators are elected from the
four fields of study within the college and the first-year class, and then sit
on at least one of the five standing committees: Academic Programming, Public
Relations, University Community and Alumni Relations, Community Service
Network, and Social Programming.
Please email Mike if you have any
questions about becoming a Senator on the PTCD Caucus.
Thank you for your interest!
