Students who have recently returned from Study Abroad experiences (both
internships and classroom-based programs) will find these workshops to be of
interest.
The Office of Study Abroad in collaboration with the Career Services Network
announces:
Unpacking your Study Abroad Experience: How to sell your Study Abroad
experience to employers and graduate schools.
Friday, January 27, 2-4 PM, Room 132 Hubbard Hall

Monday, February 6, 6-8 PM, Room 110 Berkey Hall
This interactive and highly informative session will give you the
information and skills you need to effectively present your study abroad
experience in your résumé, application cover letters, and during job
interviews. Among other topics, you will learn about:
* How to best place your study abroad experience on your résumé and
curriculum vitae
* How to describe the knowledge, attitudes, and skills you have
acquired through study abroad in application cover letters and during
interviews
* How to link these skills to the requirements of prospective
employers and admissions criteria of graduate schools
* How to highlight your study abroad experience and skills during
job interviews
There will be additional workshops offered during fall semester 2012 (TBD).
