The Stabenow for US Senate campaign is looking for interns. 

 


The first is a new media intern. 

Stabenow for U.S. Senate is looking for a creative, computer oriented intern
to help support the campaigns online communications program.  

The idea candidate should have a strong interest in online communications or
design or advertizing. A political science background is not required, just
a willingness to work hard in support of Senator Debbie Stabenow.

Job Description: New Media Intern will assist the New Media Director in:

. Email list upkeep
. Generating content for emails, website and social networks
. Other creative projects as needed

Strong computer skills + an interest in design, advertizing or data a plus.
A minimum of two days a week time commitment desired.

The second is general interns. Here is the description: 

The Debbie Stabenow for U.S. Senate campaign is currently seeking interns
and volunteers to help in our East Lansing office.  Interns will be
responsible for helping with donor outreach, donor research, and maintaining
the donor database.  Interns will also have opportunities to help at
fundraising events.  

This internship is a great opportunity to work on a major state-wide
campaign and make a difference. Senator Stabenow is the chair of the Senate
Agriculture Committee and a member of the Senate Finance, Energy, and Budget
Committees.
 
Senator Stabenow was first elected to the United State Senate in 2000 as the
first female senator in Michigan. Before that, she got her Bachelor's and
Master's degrees at Michigan State, served the Michigan House of
Representatives from 1979-1990, was a Michigan State Senator from 1991-1994,
and was elected to United States House of Representatives in 1996.  

Experience is not required, but community or government work is a plus.
