Research assistants for lab work and field work looking at invasive species and fire ecology studies of the Reno Great Basin Ecology Laboratory thorugh the University of Nevada, Reno. . Work includes collecting field data and laboratory processing of collected materials and data entry. You may be eligible for academic credit-talk to your advisor. . Hours: Full time (40 hrs/wk) from mid/late May until classes resume at the end of August. Part time after this period. . Pay: $10.50 - $15.50/hr depending on education and experience. Qualifications: . Ability to do strenuous activity outdoors under all weather conditions . Interest in working with plants and soils. . Familiarity with plant and soil lab processing techniques (training provided). . Computer skills, especially MS Excel. .
