Re: [MSUNAG] Realm for Juniper VPN? So the “Users” realm definitely works. However, the VPN client itself seems to be creating a non-routable tunnel which it then proceeds to monitor – attempts to ping the tunnel or IPs in the MSU range fail with an inability to transmit over the tunnel. It also monitors the tunnel, so my attempts to change it fail immediately – it detects a change and then forcibly closes the VPN application.

The word on the Ubuntu forums is that there’s a newer version of the VPN client available – 6.2, apparently – but it appears to be only available as a download to patch the server side. Does anyone know of a way to get hands on the linux executables for it? (We’re  running 6.0.something right now.)

At a guess, try "Users" as the realm.  Alternatively, try some
sort of null entry.

In the Juniper configuration, one has the option of defining
multiple realms for different groups of people, but vpn.msu.edu
only uses the one default realm, which is "Users".

This has never come up before; no realm appears on the signin
page because only one realm is in use, I think.

Followup to the list if this works, or let me know if it doesn't
and I'll poke around further.

I've mostly got it set except that it keeps dying with incorrect credentials because I can't quite seem to figure out what realm I'm supposed to be connecting to. The techbase has proven to be no assistance. Can anyone shed any light?
