I have a response on whether we will record this session and we have decided that  tomorrow’s Webmasters meeting will not be recorded. I have been told that we will be refining and modifying our approach to the implementation of the new policy as we go along. We will learn more and more about what is practical and how best to make overall progress. No one session like this will be definitive and we would prefer to encourage people to take advantage of the multiple venues of discussion. We are willing and can schedule more local versions of those if needed.

 

Karen Woehlert leads our policy implementation team. If you want further information on additional presentations she would be the person to contact. I have copied her so she can assist you further if needed.

There are many plans for presentations on the new policy. I would be happy to explore this as an option.

MSU’s new Web Accessibility Policy will be announced soon.  Mark your calendar for this special meeting of MSU Webmasters.

We will meet in B106 Wells on July 15 from 3:00 pm until 5:00.

 

Speakers will include  Paulette Granberry Russell, David Gift, and Mike Elledge.  Discussion will cover  policy requirements, technical guidelines, the recommended protocol for evaluation, the remediation process, and resources available to assist in policy implementation.
