Thanks to our Infrastructure Team here at IT Services, a
mobile-friendly version of the MSU login (also known as the Sentinel
or D6501 login) is now available for secure Web applications.

By default it creates a utilitarian layout that looks okay on a mobile
device as well as a standard site. (A couple of screenshots of the
default look are attached.)

One of the goals in the development of this interface was to add hooks
in the markup and make the CSS simple enough so that it would be
easy for a developer to use the D6501 formatting and CSS override
options to create a more mobile-specific look and/or a more
sophisticated look for a standard site.

Refer to your Sentinel User Guide for specifics on how to access the
D6501 formatting screen. If you are moving from an older version there
are some adjustments that you will need to make that are not yet in
the user guide. For those specifics please e-mail me directly.
