What bothers me is that PAC mail, and by association, the MSU Athletics Dept., does not honor requests to be removed from their advertising lists. Perhaps we should legislate that it's required -- oh wait, that's been done already.  For that matter, Mike Rogers refuses to remove you from his list, as well. So much for contacting our legislation.  Perhaps we academic units should add everyone in Athletics to our promotional mailings as well. I'm sure they're just as interested in keeping up to date on our weekly research and outreach updates as we are on their day to day events.

It would be nice if these mass-mailing outfits spent a tiny fraction of the time they spend inundating us with marketing materials  to ensure that their legal obligation for unsubscribing was also operational.  It would also be interesting for one of our economists to quantify the cost to U. salary funding was spent reading Athletics promotional materials on our MSU provided business accounts.
