The School of Natural Resources and Environment seeks a candidate to fill
the position of research laboratory technician in Dr. Allen Burton's
laboratory assisting with research projects pertaining to ecotoxicology of
metals, nanomaterials, and organic contaminants.
Duties include assisting with field and lab experiments, processing samples,
culture and lab maintenance, data collection and management, and supervision
of temporary student employees in the lab.
A master's degree in biology, chemistry, or related discipline or equivalent
combination of education and experience is required.
Previous research and analytical experience, experience working in a
laboratory, a willingness to learn new techniques, and the ability to work
well in a group environment is required.
