Three positions are available for undergraduate-level field assistants in

Duties include live-trapping small mammals, conducting visual transects,
recording data, sampling of vegetation, seeds and insects. Successful
applicants must be able to spend considerable time in remote field settings,
camping, and hiking in a variety of weather conditions. Minorities are
especially encouraged to apply. Desired dates of employment are
approximately May 15 or June 1 to the end of August or early September 2010.
Summer stipend will be approximately $5,100. Volunteer research
opportunities are also available beyond these three paid positions. Please
send a letter of interest, CV, and 3 references to
[log in to unmask] Review of applicants will begin on April 15 and
will continue until posts are filled.
