The Capital Area Career Center (CACC) Programming, Databases & Website Development class is proud to present the Third Annual CodePros Technology Showcase.
Thursday, May 20, 2010 5:00-7:30 p.m. Capital Area Career Center 611 Hagadorn Road Mason, Michigan 48854
The CodePros Technology Showcase provides an opportunity for students to explain and demonstrate the results of their hard work and accomplishments during the 2009-2010 school year.
Students will present projects in business programming, game programming, computer graphics and website development.
We need your help, this evening, as web designers or computer programmers to evaluate and guide their work. Students used HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, Photoshop and Flash on their web projects. Computer programming projects may be written in Python, C++, Visual Basic.NET, C# or Java.
Come and meet our students; evaluate their projects, presentations and provide guidance. Students have been developing their communication, technical and project skills this year. This is an opportunity for them to practice these skills in a business setting. Students appreciate your interest, questions and suggestions. Having their work reviewed is an exceptional experience for our Showcase presenters!
All students, either individually or in teams, will present one of their projects in Room 605 (1 hour). Technology employers will be able to visit student’s tables and provide feedback to students during the remainder of the time beginning at 5:00 p.m.
We need your support! Your commitment to help is critical to the success of this event. Please respond by phone or to this email indicating if you can participate on Thursday, May 20, 2010 5:00-7:30 p.m. Please note in your response any particular languages or skills you feel most comfortable critiquing. I will try to match you up with the appropriate students based on your feedback. Please arrive a few minutes early to receive your instructions and critique forms.
