We seem to be having good results with a limited deployment of NOD32 (v4) and for systems that get really mucked up we usually run a combination of ComboFix and MalwareBytes. If those two don't get it, we just re-image the machine.

We have been using VIPRE for a few years and I must say that we have
been really happy with it.

I've found the one-two punch of VIPRE and MalwareBytes to work pretty
well for me.

Subject: [MSUNAG] Depressing news

I just found out that the computer store no longer has the physical
copies of Webroot's anti-spyware/virus for sale. They are looking at
departmental stuff, if I got that right. Instead you can get copies
of Mcafee and Symantec. Ugh.

NOD32 has been failing me for a while now, and I've spent (wasted)
more time dealing with protection software. Webroot is pretty much
the winner, with Sophos and Kaspersky being good too.
